(Or Amelia's psychoanalysis of Lazlo) prompt from Simara
" We will Assign you an agent until we return to the dock"
"There really is no need"
"He is a Person of interest now, this is as much for your safety as for his"
Amelia stopped protesting the Aegis assistance and Quietly waited for the Agents to finish deciding which unfortunate soul would be put on active duty.

Lazlo appeared to be much happier with one of his guns back hanging in its holster at his side, although he still maintained that ever brooding, sulky expression painted across his face like a child that had been refused their favourite ice cream. Her concerns about his obvious reactive attachment disorder made her wary of him but the fact of the matter was that they both had job to do; Keep Eustace safe. Any evaluations of Lazlo's mental and emotional state that she might make, she would keep to herself . After all he was a trained professional and no doubt had his own evaluation about her. Amelia would rather that can of worms remained unopened, it was bad enough that people already ribbed her about her feelings towards Eustace, having those feelings opened up and analysed would only hinder her ability to do her Job.

"You know if Mr Roxburgh is outside, perhaps you should be too?" Amelia prompted Lazlo. He had been sat with his arms around the resident "It girl" before removing himself from the lavish furniture and striding out on to the deck . Eliza didn't verbally object to the interruption but the brief falter in her smile said otherwise. Amelia might have felt guilty if she hadn't been doing the woman a favour. Men like Lazlo were a poor choice of romantic partner; Always Job first, Everything else after, instant gratification and ego over vulnerability and healthy human relationships. But then again, these personality traits are the reason Lazlo is able to do his job, his apparent narcissism, be it an act or genuine is what makes him a desirable agent. The only evidence to suggest that Amelia's assessment of him might be unfair was his friendship with Valentina and even that relationship was open to psychoanalysis.

"Not even a Goodbye" Eustace shrugged as they walked across to the docks to the airship that would take them home. "he was obviously preoccupied with his firearms after sooooo long apart" Amelia giggled, allowing Eustace to take her hand in his. She smiled up at him, losing herself in his crystal blue eyes. sharing her assignment with Lazlo hadn't been too unfavourable, though she had to admit, she much preferred it when it was just her and Eustace.
